Speaker: Lisa Lipscomb

Born 1955 in Houston Texas. Graduate of Texas A&M University in 1979 with a BS in Forestry. Worked seven years at Texas A&M University in the Horticulture Department. Graduate of Texas Woman’s University in 1989 with a BS in Nursing.

Retired in 2020 after 31 years working as a Research, Registered Nurse doing dementia research at the Alzheimer’s Disease and Memory Disorders Center in the Department of Neurology at Baylor College of Medicine.

Member of the Lady Washington Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Avid gardener, recycler and conservationist. Collector of early Texas and Houston art. Volunteer for the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center. Board member of her local Museum Park Neighborhood Association.
