Speaker: Ben Crocker

Ben Crocker is University Dean at the University of Austin, in Texas.

Originally from rural Australia, Ben holds a Bachelor of Music from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, a teaching Diploma from the University of Southern Queensland, and a Master of Arts in Liberal Arts from St. John’s College in Annapolis, where he attended as an inaugural Ramsay Centre for Western Civilization postgraduate scholar.

Prior to joining UATX, Ben worked as a fellow at Common Sense Society in Washington, D.C., Budapest and London. Before moving to the United States he worked for ten years teaching at boarding schools in Sydney, and at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

Ben is a senior fellow at the Institute of Public Affairs, in Melbourne. His commentary  has appeared in The New York Post, The Federalist, The Spectator and Quadrant Magazines, and on Fox News.
